4 die, 2 injure as SUV rams into truck
Four persons were killed and two injured in a predawn auto accident on Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday.
The crash, which occurred around 04.53a.m around Mountain Top University corridor of the highway, involved two vehicles with registration numbers KTU738HM, a RX350 SUV and a truck marked T21024LA.
Florence Okpe, the Chief Route Commander and Federal Road Safety (FRSC) Public Education Officer for the Sector Commander FRSC Ogun Sector Command, Ahmed Umar, attributed the cause to “excessive speed and use of phone while driving which led to loss of control on the part of the Lexus driver.”.
