70th Birthday: Osogbo agog as dignitaries shower, prayers, encomium on Oyetola

Dignitaries within and outside Osun State gathered to mark the grand finale of the 70th birthday celebration of the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, Alh Isiak Adegboyega Oyetola.

The event which was held on Sunday at the Ilerioluwa Office in Osogbo, the State Capital, was centered on special prayer to corroborate the celebrant’s prayer who is currently in Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj (Umrah) to thank Allah on his 70th birthday.

OsunReporters News Correspondent who was at the event, reported that presence of dignitaries within the All Progressive Congress (APC), Islamic leaders, Royal fathers, politicians, technocrats, business tycoons, groups among others added a glamor to the event.

Different tributes and a heartfelt 70th Birthday encomium from dignitaries were extended to felicitate and congratulate the Hon Minister on his 70th birthday, encapsulating the warmth and respect shared by all towards the celebrant on this special occasion.

The Grand Chief Imam of Offa, Kwara state, Sheik Imam Muyudeen Salimon delivered a heartfelt goodwill message to commemorate the celebrant’s birthday, extending warm wishes to all well-wishers present.

Among the distinguished guests were the Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye ll); Aragbiji if Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed; Osun former Deputy Governor, Otunba Tit-Ponnle; Alh Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, State APC Chairman; Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, MD/CEO National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and his wife Dr Mrs Shekinat Oyebamiji; former Osun Speaker, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye.

Others include; former Osun Reps member, Hon Mrs Taiwo Oluga; former guber candidate, Prince Dotun Babayemi; Hon Abiodun Famurewa; Hon Remi Omowaye; Comrade Amitolu Shittu; Hon Olagoke Akinwemimo; the State Youth Leader, OBA Famodun, Hon Olatunji, Hon Ayeni, Hon Banik, among other friends, family, and well-wishers who gathered to honor the Hon Minister on this significant milestone.

Earlier, the birthday planning committee had organized free medical outreach across the three Senatorial Districts in the state where numerous residents benefited.
