Eguavoen Steps Aside As Super Eagles Coach
Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that Augustine Eguavoen has stepped aside as the interim coach of the Super Eagles.
Eguavoen revealed that his “mandate was for two games”.
According to reports, the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), was brought in after attempts to hire a substanstive head coach for the national team failed.
______He took charge of two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
,,,,,,,,The Eagles defeated Benin 3-0 last Saturday and drew 0-0 at Rwanda on Tuesday.
While speaking at the Kigali Airport after the game, Eguavoen refused to be drawn into preparations for Nigeria’s next game against Libya.
