Five die, 41 injure in Yobe heavy downpour, thunderstorm
No fewer than five people were reportedly confirmed dead, with forty-one persons sustaining various degrees of injuries in Damaturu Yobe State following a heavy downpour of rainfall and thunderstorm.
Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Doctor MOHAMMED GOJE confirmed the incident to newsmen today
According to him SEMA has responded to the victims and they have been admitted at the Specialist Hospital of the state.
