Gunmen lnvade Church, kill three, kidnap Pastor, 29 others

It was a tragic Sunday when bandits launched a violent attack on a church service in the Bakinpah-Maro community, located in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The invasion, which occurred around 10:00 a.m., resulted in the death of three people and 30 others reportedly kidnapped in an attack targeted both an ECWA church and a Catholic church.

While confirming the ugly incident, the former chairman of Kajuru LGA, Cafra Caino, said among those abducted is Bernard Gajera, a pastor from one of the churches.

Although police authorities have yet to release an official statement, the incident follows recent efforts by the Maro community to enhance local security.
