How man shot rival for sleeping with his ‘girlfriend’ in Ondo

A 43-year-old man, Ajagba Joseph, has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly attempting to murder another man he found in his concubine’s home.

According to reports, the incident, which occurred on August 23, 2024, was detailed in a statement shared by the police command on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

,,,,,Police explained that, Joseph visited his lover’s residence and discovered another man, who was also reportedly involved with the same woman.

,,,,,,Enraged by the situation, Joseph allegedly pulled out a single-barrel gun and shot his rival.

……Fortunately, the victim survived the attack and is currently recovering from his injuries.

“Attempted Murder: This married man, Mr. Ajagba Joseph, aged 43, on the 23rd of August, went to his concubine’s house and met another lover.

,____“He became angry and shot the other man with his single-barrel gun. The victim is recuperating, and the suspect is in custody and will soon be charged to court,” police statement read.

However, the authorities have confirmed that Joseph remains in custody and will face charges in connection……with the attempted murder
