JUST IN: APC Constitutes Panel To Review Anti-party Activities

The ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) has set up a 5-member committee by its National Working Committee (NWC) to review the anti-party activities true numerous petitions submitted by members of the party across the states.

The committee is chaired by the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, Otunba Niyi Adebayo while members included the National Vice Chairman (South-west), Mr. Bankole Oluwajana; National Legal Adviser, Babatunde Ogala; National Treasurer, Adamu Fanda and National Disabled Leader, Misbau Lawal Didi.

Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, who ismtge National Publicity Secretary of the party, made this known in a statement yesterday that the NWC had received several petitions alleging various forms of anti-party activities by some members, including working against the party and its candidates in the just concluded elections.

Recalled that the APC National Working Committee suspended Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State for anti-party activities in March 2019.


The committee has one week to submit its report to the National Working Committee of the party.
