JUST IN: Bandits ‘surrender’ to soldiers in Kaduna

….Terrorists known locally as bandits, who invaded Sabon Tasha GRA in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of Saturday fled when soldiers responded to their attack.

According to the report, bandits had initially set a house on fire after failing in its mission to abduct the owner.

,,,,,,It was learnt that the bandits invaded the community around 12:30 am today (Saturday), but soldiers intervened shortly after.

,,,,,,A shootout ensued, and the troops had the upper hand.

Report also revealed that bandits attacked the community two days ago and seized a man, his wife, and daughter.

….The gun duel which reportedly lasted for an hour between the soldiers and the bandits caused tension in the community.
