LG Caretaker Chairman Kidnapped (Photo)

Some unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the Caretaker Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area in Kogi State, Zacchaeus Michael.

While confirming the incident on Saturday, the state Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, said the kidnapping occurred on Friday night along the Kabba-Okene Road in the Kabba area of the state.

According t him, “Yes, I got the information. The state Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, has already deployed officers for a search-and-rescue mission. We are on top of the situation,” he said.

At the time of filing this report, the kidnappers are yet to reach out to the victim’s family.
