Nollywood Reacts, As AFRIMEK Suspends Actor Adeniyi Johnson

For alleged gross misconduct and violating the club’s constitution, African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) has indefinitely suspended actor Adeniyi Johnson.

According to reports, the suspension was announced over the weekend via the club’s official Instagram page explaining that; “ADENIYI JOHNSON is suspended indefinitely from AFRIMEK. He is no longer authorized to represent himself as a…..member or participate in club activities. This action follows significant breaches of the club’s constitution.”

,,,____AFRIMEK, a prominent club within Nigeria’s entertainment sector, previously had Adeniyi Johnson as its Public Relations Officer.

Meanwhile, some Nollywood actors who are Adeniyi Johnson’s colleagues have solidarized him following his suspension from AFRIMEK.

,,,,,Reacting to the news on Sunday, Johnson expressed sadness that his honourable club made such a derogatory post about him. He stated that though he wasn’t bigger than the club, there had been Adeniyi Johnson before the club and the post they made about him could cause harm. He noted how such a post was detrimental to his name, his family and most importantly, his brand.
