Omoyele Sowore Regains Freedom
News reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that popular activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has regained his freedom after being reportedly arrested and detained by the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Lagos airport.
According to Sowore in a post on his official social media page, announcing his release: “I have just been released by the Nigerian Immigration Service after a brief detention, and my passport has been returned to me. #RevolutionNow”

Sowore’s flight left the Washington Dulles International Airport at 6.14 EDT and arrived in Lagos at around 9.43 WAT.
He had been with his family in the United States.
