Ondo auto crash claims two, as mob sets car ablaze
_____Hours after Ondo State residents took to polling booths to elect a new governor, two persons reportedly lost their lives in a road accident in the state.
According to reports, the auto crash, involving a car and motorcycle, occurred at about 10pm on Saturday at Idi Mango in Odigbo LGA.
____According to an eyewitness, the driver was under the influence and was riding at full pelt. The car would then run into two persons on a motorcycle as the driver lost control of his vehicle.
____“The driver ran away, having realised he had committed a crime,” the eyewitness said.
“One of the victims died on the spot, while the other was taken to the hospital for treatment but later died.”
____An angry mob subsequently set the car ablaze, according to the eyewitness.
