Ronaldo told to leave 2022 World Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, Katia Aveiro has urged her brother to leave Portugal’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad in Qatar and come home after being benched against Switzerland.

Aveiro stated this in a lengthy emotional message on her Instagram page.

Recall that Ronaldo was dropped from Portugal’s starting XI by head coach Fernando Santos in the round-of-16 clash against Switzerland as they won 6-1.
