Russia, Belarus Athletes Banned In Paralympics
Russian and Belarusian athletes were reportedly banned from competing in the Beijing Winter Paralympics.
As announced today by the International Paralympic Committee, citing the war in Ukraine, the committee explained that the decision was to preserve the integrity of Game and the safety of all participants.
The ban was a reversal of a decision the previous day to allow the athletes to compete in the Games, which start tomorrow.
