The United Kingdom Metropolitan Police have issued a warning to the UK bassed Nigerian wives and mothers against evicting their husbands from their homes.

According to reports, the advice was given during a church service at Divine Restoration International Church, located at Hanworth House on John Ruskin Street in Camberwell, London.

Reports further revealed that the event tailored for a predominantly Nigerian female audience, explained that over 70% of Yoruba women in England, Wales, and Ireland are single mothers who might use the threat of police intervention against the fathers of their children to secure welfare benefits.

,,,,,However, an officer, supported by colleagues from diverse backgrounds, cautioned these women against involving the police in family disputes, emphasizing the importance of fatherly involvement in children’s lives to prevent them from lacking paternal care.

,,,,,,,Additionally, the officer encouraged the women to steer clear of becoming victims of knife crimes, a prevalent issue among African diaspora communities. He stressed the necessity,,,,,,,,for both parents to participate actively in their children’s upbringing.(Eagle Online)
