Angry Youths Set Hanifa Abubakar’s School Ablaze
In their way of showing displeasure over the killing of Hanifa Abubakar, some angry youth in the early hours of Monday, January 24, reportedly set ablaze the school where five-year-old Hanifa’s remains were buried in Kano.
,,,,,The private school, Noble Kids Comprehensive College, is located at Kwanar Dakata in Nassarawa local government area, in Kano metropolis.
It could be recalled that on December 2, 2021, Hanifa was abducted by her teacher, Abdulmalik Tanko, who is also the proprietor of the school.
,,,,,Mr Tanko, however was arrested by the police and will be charged to court soon, while the State Government also ordered the closure of the school.
….The police spokesperson, Abbdullahi Kiyawa, on Monday morning said the angry youth set the school on fire in the middle of the night adding that there was no casualty in the incident, but part of the school building was razed. He said no suspect with regards to the incident has been arrested yet, adding that Mr Tanko will be charged to court this week”.
