Another Nigerian actress dies in her sleep (Photo)

Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that a veteran Nigerian actress identified as Saratu Gidado, popularly known as Daso, has died in her sleep.

According to reports, Daso who is popular for acting in most Kannywood films passed away in the early hours of Tuesday after the midnight meal before the commencement of the day’s Ramadan fast (Sahur), Leadership News reports.

The deceased played a significant role in the Hausa film sector, captivating audiences in the Northern region with her exceptional acting skills and diverse characters for more than 18 years.

She made her debut in 2000 in a movie titled Linzami Da Wuta, produced by Sarauniya Movies. Other hits that led to the late actress’s stardom include Nagari, Gidauniya, Mashi, and Sansani followed.

She is survived by her husband and children as her demise has left fans and colleagues, mourning with tributes pouring in from various quarters.

Reports further revealed that shee has been buried according to Islamic rites.
