Super Eagles Coach Peseiro Departs After Contract Expires

____Following the expiration of his contract on Thursday, Jose Peseiro has officially stepped down as manager of the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.
____Peseiro, who led the team to a runner-up finish at the 2023 AFCON, expressed his pride and gratitude for the opportunity to coach the West African nation. He highlighted the “22 months of immense dedication” and expressed appreciation to the NFF staff and players.
_____This departure leaves the Super Eagles searching for a new manager as they prepare for upcoming challenges.
