Osogbo Agog As Alapepe Welcomes Dignitries To Akoto-Ogbon Day This Sunday

All roads lead to Olarinke Civic Centre, Ajewole Area, Osogbo Osun State where this year celebration of “AKOTO OGBON DAY” will be held to exhibit pure Yoruba culture and moral values to bring back the lost value of the kingdom’s heritage.

In a press release signed by the convaner and Chief Executive Officer of Alapepe Media Productions, Mrs Modasola Alapepe Oladunjoye, and made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS in Osogbo explained that this year Amoto-Ogbon Day is significant as celebrities and dignitaries across Nigeria will be in attendance.

Alapepe, who is an ace broadcaster and competent engager, explained that eminent personalities, royal fathers, groups will be in attendance while different live stage performances by many talented Nollywood stars, Comedians and cultural troops will add glamor to the event.

Some of the expected celebrities are; Kolade Alabi, Rose Odika, Abeni Agbon, Baba Jenifa, Baba Alariya, Sisi Qodri among others.

Akoto Ogbon is a concept by Mrs Modasola Oladunjoye that teaches moral and culture of Yoruba ethos with numerous fans across Osun, Nigeria and beyond. It has become an annual event that people love to witness.

This year’s event is slated for September 3rd, 2023 at Olarinke Civic Centre, Ajewole Area, Osogbo Osun State at 10:00am.
