Ataoja Eulogises Federal, State Governments For Positive Response On Federal Secretariat In Osogbo

The paramount ruler and custodian of the Osogbo traditional institution, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Abidemi Olanipekun (Larooye II), the Ataoja of Osogbo has eulogised the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari and the government of Osun State under the leadership of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for the quick response to his request on mobilizing contractor back to the Federal Secretariat site for completion.

In a chart with the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS Correspondent in Osogbo on Friday, Ataoja Larooye ll lauded the government for authorization of completion of the Federal Secretariat Osogbo in the last Federal Executive Council Meeting held on Wednesday 19th of August, 2020 in Abuja.

Listed among the five Federal Secretariats under construction, the Federal Secretariat located in Osogbo the Osun State Capital for completion as approved by the Federal Executive Council.

Describing the move to complete the huge project by the President as a welcome development, Ataoja gave kudos to the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fasola, adding that the residents of Osun should continue the support giving to the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola for implementation of more developmental agenda across board.

“I openly demanded for the intervention of the government at the just concluded Osun Osogbo Festival over the abandoned Federal Secretariat in Osogbo, and the approval was given at the next Federal Executive Council Meeting.

“I appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, Honourable Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fasola for their quick intervention.

“It is important to acknowledge the contribution of other government apparatus on the approval of completion of the federal Secretariat Osogbo which had been abandoned for some years.


“I hope for more developmental projects from both the Stare and Federal Government in my territory,” Ataoja said.
