The President-elect, BOLA TINUBU, and Vice President-elect, KASHIM SHETTIMA have been honoured with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic and Grand Commander of Order of the Niger respectively.
The investiture was held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
The event is part of the activities lined up for the May 29 inauguration ceremony.
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI handed the transition documents to the President-elect Bola Tinubu.
This is in line with Executive Order 14 which mandates that the transition council issues handover notes containing, amongst other things, proposed policy direction for the incoming administration.
