JUST IN: DSS finally breaks Silence on Sunday Igboho’s attempted arrest
Upon the viral video where a team of joint security forces and the Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho were seen in an attempt to make an arrest of him on the Lagos-Ibadan highway on Friday, the Department of State Services (DSS), has finally spoken about the event.
According the statement by the Public Relations Officer, National Headquarters, Abuja, Dr Peter Afunanya, DSS denied reports they had attempted to arrest Sunday Igboho in Oyo State few hours after reports that a joint team of policemen and the Department of State Services were seen in the video attempted to arrest Sunday Igboho, described it as fake news.
The statement reads: “The Department of State Services wishes to refute the news that it attempted to arrest one Sunday Igboho, today, at Ibadan, Oyo State. The said news is misinforming and should be taken as fake and therefore be disregarded.”
