“Keep Off, No place for crime campaign,” Online Publisher, Oludairo Sues for crime-free society
The Publisher, Bold News Africa, Mr Oludairo Johnson, has said that the ‘Keep Off! No Place for Crime’ campaign was to enlighten the public on the need to develop a zero tolerance for crime in the society.
He added that with the campaign, he expected to see crime rate reducing to the bearest minimum.
“With everyone of us vigilant at all times, every nook and cranny of the society will be free from crime; from street to street, expecially at the grassroots where crimes committed are not reported.
“Fighting criminality must be everybody’s business, as crime against one is crime against all.
“We need to be watchful, believing that reshaping our society to a crime-free environment is a collective responsibility of all.
“A crime-free society is what we are agitating for; a peaceful co-existence and prosperity in Nigeria is our watchdog,” he said.
While calling for a continuous awareness through radio jingles, he gave kudos to the media and to security agencies for their support towards the campaign.
“We urge all to say no to crime; kidnapping, ritual killing, internet fraud, robbery and banditry,” he said.
