LEKKI SHOOTINGS: Seven Victims Surface At Panel In Lagos
One of the major aftermath of the #EndSARS protest across Nigeria to calm the situation by setting up different panel of enquiries to look into the issue and recommend way-out as Nigerians are looking forward to the outcome of the Lekki shootings, seven alleged victims of the October 20 Lekki shootings have ‘surfaced’.
On Saturday, Seven victims appeared at the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters, OsunReportersNews gathered.
According to a lawyer, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika SAN who spoke on behalf of the victims, told the panel he had a petition on their behalf against the Nigerian Army.
Seeking for permission, Olumide-Fusika asked Justice Doris Okuwobi (Rtd)-led a panel on how to proceed with the petitions.
The panel, which rose briefly, has just returned.
