NYSC breaks silence on forcing Muslim Corps member to shave long beards
,,,,The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has debunked reports that it forced a Muslim corps member to shave his long beards to avoid eviction from camp.
The Service gave the denial in a post on its Facebook page.
It described the report as misleading, adding that the NYSC has its code of conduct which Corps members always complied with throughout their service year.
Akintola, having confirmed that the story is false, appreciated NYSC Management for mentoring Nigerian youths without religious or ethnic sentiments.
,,,,It warned that it will persecute the initiator of the libelous story.
