Osogbo APC Ward-13 Sues For Council Chairmanship Position With Reasons, Says Oriola Oladipupo Is A Competent Candidate

As permutations for new leadership of the local government across the local governments in Osun State have already begun, APC loyalists from ward-13 revealed the major assumptions why the ward should be given a consideration and a prove key of leadership over the next Chairmanship race in the local government.

This was stated during a warmest receive of one of the major chairmanship aspirants of the Osogbo prime council from ward-13, Oriola Oladipupo popularly known as Oris at the ward meeting on Sunday 17th January, 2021, as the reasons why Ward 13 member Should be Consider as the next Osogbo local government Chairman were also revealed to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS Correspondent.

It could be recalled that the Osogbo local government is with about 300, 000 population as projected in the year, 2016 by the National population commission of Nigeria.

During his visit, the Osogbo local government chairmanship aspirant under the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC), Honorable Oriola Oladipupo Kabir popularly known as ORIS appreciated the good people of ward 13 in Akepe street, Osogbo local government for their support, interest and loyalty to the ruling party.

Oladipupo narrated the need to provide food and shelter through agricultural development means for the people at the grassroots level.

In his word, “Most of our people engage in illegal and shameful means just to earn a living as a result of hunger. My priority is to bring infrastructures to the local government by providing foods & shelters through agricultural means and amenities for them to survive, Oladipupo said.

A leader of the party in the ward, Alhaji Karina Adigun, said to succeed at this crucial race, he urged the ward 13 irrespective of their family, jobs and religion to join hands together and Support their own son.

A leader of the party in Osogbo Local Government and ward-13, Chief Sare Pawo of Osogboland, Baba-awo Taye Ajibola encouraged people to pray for the emergence of Oladipupo, advising the APC Chairmanship aspirant to shun the politics of do or die affairs, bitterness and hatred.

The leader, advised Oladipupo to always give a listening ears to the people, pick their calls and reply their messages after assuming office. “Don’t Make a covenant with anyone”, he added.

“I will urge the incoming Chairman to take the local government serious and give them the development through their allocation for the local government, advice him to always pick calls from the people and attend to them after assuming office as Chairman.”

While encouraging the ward to Support Oladipupo Oris, the ward youth leader, Ademola Jamiu said in his words: “My reason for Supporting Oladipupo Oris was based on the need to have the best person for the job without given in to emotion or sentiment. We saw in him what many people didn’t see and we are not in doubt that he would reposition the local government for better.

Speaking further, the deputy Woman leader in the ward, Omotoyosi Olupona called on the people to Support the candidate of Oladipupo Oris.


To this end, Oladipupo appears like a leader who is coming in to build and not to destroy and whoever that has that in mind will not abandon developmental projects for the local government, Another faithful Party member in the ward, Rasaq Adekunle said.
