Osun ANBROAD Visits Gov Adeleke, Decorates Him As Life Patron

The Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke has been officially decorated as Life Patron of Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) Osun State Chapter.

OsunReporters News gathered that members of the Association led by the National Steering Committee Chairman, Prince Akolade Alabi on Thursday May 23, 2024 paid a courtesy visit to the Governor at his office, Oke-Pupa Abeere.

While speaking on behalf of the association, Prince Kolade Alabi gave kudos to the Governor for embarking on developmental projects across Osun, and promised that ANBROAD will continue to promote the good work of the government through numerous programmes on radio and television by members of ANBROAD.

He added that the association will be looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with the state government to move Osun forward.

In his address, Governor Adeleke, who expressed his appreciation to all members of the association for the visit, promised his administration will continue to support ANBROAD to move the association forward. He promised to donate a bus and look into how the association will get a befitting ANBROAD state secretariat soon.

However, the governor urged membees of ANBROAD to encourage his administration by promoting and bringing his efforts to rebrand Osun closer to the masses at all levels through broadcast media.

Earlier, the Acting State Coordinator of ANBROAD in Osun, Alh Akintunde Oyelade popularly known as Orolomo Presenter appreciated the governor for accepting the Association’s request to visit him, noting that Governor Adeleke is the first governor to receive the association of broadcasters in the history of Osun state despite the association’s constitution recognizes any sitting governor of the state as Life Patron of the association.

The governor was officially decorated by leaders of Osun ANBROAD where Prince Kolade Alabi; Evangelist Ayobami Oyelade Agbaramiko; Dr Akinkunmi Alabi; Madam Modasola Alapepe; Alh Akintunde Oyelade among other elders, past leaders and members were in attendance.

Meanwhile, elections into various offices at both State and National levels of ANBROAD are slated for May and June 2024.
