Political Thugs Disrupt Edo APC Primary Election Results Collation
During the collation of results, suspected political thugs on Saturday disrupted the the primary election of the All Progressives Congress for the governorship election in Edo State.
According to reports, results from eight local hovernment areas had already been announced when journalists covering the event were alerted to vacate the centre of the event at Lushville Hotel and Suite, in GRA, Benin, during live telecast.
Reports revealed thst several journalists, including an NTA cameraman and FRCN reporter, were manhandled and their equipment scattered.

Despite the presence of the state Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adeboye, who was present with the officials of the party at the centre, hoodlums went ahead in the destructive act.
