Popular Skit Maker, Trinity Guy released on bail

,,,,,A skit maker, Maruf Abdullahi, popularly called ‘Trinity Guy’, who had the Magistrates’ Court, Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo state capital, ordering that he should be remanded in a correctional facility last month, and also later ‘returned’ to custody earlier this month, has been released on bail.

,,,,,,He had been made to celebrate the eid-li-adha festival behind bars last month.

Maruf was accused of sexualizing a minor in his viral skit video, himself and the victim’s parents; Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and Rofiat Ahmed, 29 , were consequently ordered to be remanded in Agodi Correctional Centre.

The Prosecution Counsel, Inspector Oluwakemi Arowosaye had told the court,,,,,that Maruf Abdullahi, Ahmed, and his wife, Rofiat allegedly conspired together to sexualize the young girl.

‘Trinity on December 17, 2022 sexually abused and sexually exploited a 10-year-old girl in Kuala area, Ibadan.

The offence contravened the provisions of Section 35 (1) and this is punishable under Section 35 (2) of the Oyo State Child Rights Law 2006’ Oluwakemi said.

,,,,,,,She added that the offence also contravened the provisions of section 516 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo state, 2000.

Magistrate Adetuyibi later adjourned the matter until August 3, for mention.

A skit maker, Abdugalfar Abiola, popularly called Cute Abiola, in an Instagram post on,,,,,,Friday night disclosed that Trinity Guy has been released on bail.

,,,,,,Cute Abiola, who until May this year served as Governor AbdulRahman Abdul Razaq’s Special Assistant, also jocularly said ‘e don pray tire’.
