Suspended Osun Poly Rector Arrested
Information reaching the OsunReporters News has it that the suspended Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo, has been arrested.
According to reports, Odetayo was arrested in Osogbo by policemen from Zone 11, on Wednesday, 20th, March 2024. He was latter released on bail and asked to report on Friday, March 22nd, 2024.
It would be recslled that Odetayo was suspended as OSPOLY rector by Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration in July, 2023 for four months for alleged abuse of office and misappropriation of fund.
However, Odetayo took the matter to court to seek redress on his suspension as he denied all the allegations against him.
At the time of filing this report, the reason behind his recent arrest is still sketchy.
