Commissioner Of Information Kidnapped

…..The spate of insecurity in Nigeria got intensified Monday night as the Commissioner of information, Nasarawa State, Mohammed Yakubu Lawal and his son Mushab Mohammed Yakubu Lawal were kidnapped.

The two were taken away from their his residence in the GRA, Nasarawa Eggon at about 9.00pm.

,,,,,It was learnt that the gunmen came in large number, raided the Commissioner’s house and took him and his son away.

The source disclosed that the son was later released while the commissioner was still being held when the gun men stormed his resident and abducted him together with his son.

It was learnt that the kidnappers had not made any contact with either the State Government or the family of the commissioner.

,,,,,,Contacted on the abduction, the Public Relation Officer of the state police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel said the command was yet to receive a report about the commissioner’s abduction.
