AbdulRazak Kilani, AbdulHafeez Oladosu To Deliver Lectures at MUPAF Southwest Colloquium In Osogbo

Professor AbdulRazaq Kilani from University of the Port Harcourt and Professor AbdulHafeez Oladosu of the University of Ibadan to deliver lecture at the Southwest COLLOQUIUM organized by the Muslim Political Awareness Front (MUPAF) an Islamic socio-political organisation in Osogbo where Muslims across the Yoruba speaking states will be in attendance in preparation for the 2023 general elections.

According to a release jointly signed by the MUPAF National Coordinator, Alhaji Lukman Obembe and Osun State Publicity Secretary, Mukhtar Ajelogbon in Osogbo on Tuesday explained that preparation is on top gear ahead of the programme where personalities across the southwest will be in attendance.

Theme of the Colloquium is “2023, NIGERIAN MUSLIMS: Which Way?” scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Fakunle High School Hall, along Ikirun Road, Osogbo Osun State capital at 11:00am where Professor AbdulRazaq Kilani from University of Port Harcourt and Professor AbdulHafeez Oladosu of the University of Ibadan will be the guest speakers.

The statement also explained that the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Hamed Tinubu is expected to be the Principal Guest of Honour, while Governor Isiak Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State will be the host to receive other governors and invited guests, Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Asiwaju Khamis Olatunde Badmus will be the Father of the occasion, Osun State Firstly, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola is the Mother of the day and Distinguish Senator Dr Ajibola Bashir is the Chairman of the day.

Sheik Jamiu Ballo Kewulere, Grand-Chief Imam of Ekiti State and President General of League of Imam and Alfa Southwest, Edo and Delta States will be the Spiritual Leader; Grand Chief Imam of Osogboland and Osun State President General of League of Imam and Alfa, Sheik Musa Animashaun is the Spiritual Host.

Royal Fathers of the occasion are; His Imperiall Majesty, Oba Dr AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1 (The Oluwo of Iwo Land); His Royal Majesty Alhaji Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi (Odundun IV), the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land.

Other guests expected at the Colloquium are League of Imams and Alfa’s, scholars, Islamic organisations, technocrats, artisans, among other professional bodies across southwest would be in attendance.


MUPAF is on the mission of sensitizing in accordance with the dictates of Allah and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) the entire Muslims on the need to rise to the numerous challenges facing Nigerian Muslims through the influence of political power across board.
