Again, Davido announces N300m donation to orphanage homes

After his November 2021 donation of N250m to 292 orphanages in Nigeria to commemorate his 29th birthday, Nigerian afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced a 300 million Naira donation to orphanages across the country.

He made this known in a post shared on his X, formerly Twitter, handle on Tuesday. He added that he will share details of the disbursement on Wednesday.

It would be recalled that Davido along with his foundation, David Adeleke Foundation annually made donations to orphanages.

In July 2023, the musician was also reported to have donated N237 million to over 400 orphanages in Nigeria.

According to Davido, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow.”
