APC National Youth Leader Hopeful, Olaitan congratulates Oyetola
As members of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State elected Governor Gboyega Oyetola as the flagbearer, aspirant for the party national youth leader, Honourable Olaitan Asimiyu has described the victory as a triumph of light over darkness.
While congratulating the Governor over a resounding victory in the shadow election, Olaitan called on the aggrieved members to shun hatred and join hands with the Governor towards a victorious outing in July.
Oyetola on Saturday defeated Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, the anointed aspirant of the former Governor, Rauf Aregbesola and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuff.
The Osogbo born grassroot mobilizer said this in a congratulatory message signed and made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS on Sunday in Osogbo, said “the victory is always sweet and this is just a pointer to our Governor’s acceptability, credibility and the most importantly, a precursor to what will happen in the general elections in July.
“It’s a triumph of light over darkness and that of truth over lies. APC members have shown that Governor Gboyega Oyetola remains the only choice and no alternative to him. This is so because of the tremendous achievements of the Governor in the last three years.
“On behalf of the entire youths of APC in Osogbo and Osun at large, I congratulate you and I assure you that we’ll work harder to consolidate on this feat in the general election come July 16.”
Olaitan, however, called on those who lost the primaries to join the Governor towards building the party and deliver more dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the people of the State.
