Appeal Court sacks two APC lawmakers
,,,,,,Two Imo state House of Assembly lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) extraction, Hon Eddy Obinna representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency and Hon Ugochukwu Obodo, representing Owerri Municipal State Constituency, have been sacked by the Court of Appeal.
While Eddy Obinna was replaced by Ezinwa Princewill Ugochukwu Amuchie of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), thereby cutting short his second term ambition, Ugochukwu Obodo, a first timer, was replaced by Hon Clinton Amadi of the Labour Party (LP) and would be coming back to the Assembly for the second time after 12 years.
,,,,,,,,The court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hand them over the Certificates of Return earlier issued to the losers.
