BREAKING: Ondo Assembly Suspends Deputy Speaker
The Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Iroju Ogundeji, has been suspended alongside with Hon. Adewale Williams who is also a member of the House.
According to the report, the leadership of the House suspended the two lawmakers on Wednesday during plenary for unruly behavior.
The affected lawmakers were among the nine lawmakers who did not sign the impeachment notice against the embattled Deputy Governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi.
Recall that the political atmosphere of the state has not being friendly with the Deputy governor since his defection from the ruling All Progressive Congress to the People Democratic Party against his principal, Governor Akeredolu.
