Ondo Guber Poll: Osun BATS Vanguard calls for massive votes for Akeredolu
In less than 24 hours to the Ondo State governorship election, the leadership of Bola Hammed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, has called for massive support for Akeredolu’s reelection in the October 10 governorship elections in Ondo State.
The socio-political group expressed confidence that Governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu will win his second-term bid on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by Osun State BATS Chairman Alhaji Rasheed Adeniji and the State Director of Media and Publicity Comrade OJ Owolawi, and made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS in Osogbo on Friday expressed confidence in winning the election.
According to the statement, the group noted that Akeredolu had done enough to deserve a second term. It commended Governor Aketi for his strides and irrevocable commitment to peace and good governance in Ondo State, adding that massive support for Akeredolu and his running mate will bring more development into the state.
The statement read in part, “The Osun State Chapter of BATS Vanguard solicit for the unflinching support of the people by coming out to cast their votes in a peaceful manner for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to continue the laudable job Arakunrin is doing in the State.
“We also seized the opportunity to remind the people of how they rejected the last administration of the PDP at the last poll in the state. No matter the level of the rainfall, a leopard cannot change its skin and that a thief does not come only but to steal from the people, let us come out to reject them again.”
