BREAKING: Osun FIBAN Elects New Chairman, Other Exco Members
The Osun State Chapter of Independent Broadcasts’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) has elected new leadership on Friday, 17th July, 2020 in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, OSUNREPORTERSNG NEWS gathered.
The election was conducted by the electoral umpire which was constituted at the national congress according to the constitution of the association.
Announcing the election results after voting and counting of ballots by the FIBANEC Chairman, Alh Gbenga Adebayo Oladunni who declared Ismail Adekunle Abolade popularly known as Dodoede as the winner with 123 Votes.
Dodoede pulled 123 votes to defeat his two opponents, while Olugnade Olu-Omo who is the incumbent State Chairman scored 19 votes, and Niyi Petters with 4 votes.
Other winners of the elections are; Ajelogbon De-Moon as Publicity Secretary, Sunday Owo-agbara as Financial Secretary, Adebayo Fakorede as General Secretary, Adirat Lawanson as Treasurer, Julius Adebayo as Vice Chairman, Alaka Saheed as Organizing Secretary, Ibrahim Oluwafemi as Assistant Secretary, Amzat Yinusa as Publicity Secretary ll, Deborah Omotunde as Welfare Officer and Dahood Adeyeye as Chief Whip.
