FIBAN Osogbo Central Zone Elects New Leadership As De-Moon, Demo-Sport, De-Chosen, MC-Love, Ewa-Ede, Alanta, Others Become Zonal Excos

The long awaited Osogbo zonal election of the Osun State Chapter of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) held on Thursday, 19th December, 2019 at Celebrity Hostel in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

The election was presided over by the electoral umpire headed by FIBANEC Chairman, Mr Akin Adebiyi Omo Nla where nine (9) zonal executives were democratically elected to lead the association in Osogbo for the next two years.

After the presentation of manifesto by the contestants and other electioneering processes, the electoral committee presented the certificate of return to the newly elected members of the executive through the State Chairman of the association, Comrade Olugbade Olu-Omo.

The newly elected Osogbo Zonal executives includes; Akomolafe Emmanuel “De-chosen” as Coordinator, Olatunji Olasunkanmi “Omo-Ola” as Deputy Coordinator, Akintobi Akinpelu “MC-Love” as General Secretary, Mukhtar Ajelogbon “De-Moon” as Publicity Secretary, Akolawole Abefe “Ewa-Ede” as Organizing Secretary Secretary while Ademola Atanda “Demo-Sport” emerged the Assistant Secretary.

Others officers are, Owoseni Adedayo “MC-Alanta” as Treasurer, Ibraheem Oluwafemi “Fineboy-Presenter” as Financial Secretary and Olatunji Olawale “Ololameji” was elected as Assistant Publicity Secretary.

In remark and word of advice to the new leadership of Osogbo Central Zone, the State Chairman, Comrade Olugbade Olu-Omo charged them on the need to correct some anomalies and stand on their toes to work for the progress of the association.


While appreciating both the electoral, State and national officers for observing the election, the new zonal Coordinator on behalf of the executive members pledged his commitment to the development of FIBAN in Osogbo and Osun at large. He also gave kudos to the zonal caretaker committee led by Mr Adekunle Abolade Dodo-Ede for the successful conduct of the election.
