JUST IN: FG speaks on high price of rice in Nigeria
The soaring price of rice in Nigeria has linked to the activities of smugglers in the country.
This was explained by the Minister of Finance, ZAINAB AHMED, while speaking in an interview in Abuja, explaining that smuggling activities adversely affect the economy and well-being of Nigerians.
According to the Minister, there are some unpatriotic Nigerians who import substandard rice into the country and spread it in the markets for them to get more profit.
