“When the educated youths of a nation were rejected and denied of being actively involved in making use of their brain and energy, the future of such nation is resting on the keg of gunpowder”

The above assertion was one of the reasons given by the leadership of NPower Volunteers for announcing a date for NPower Mega Protest in Abuja against NPower leadership and President Muhammadu Buhari’s Government.

According to the report, the transitioned NPower Beneficiaries of 2019 batch A and B have scheduled Wednesday 26th August 2020 for mega protest against their unfair disengagement from the scheme.

According to a statement jointly signed by Joseph Maigari and five others on behalf of the National Coordinator, Comrade Pele, NPower protesters are expected to be on the ground on or before 9:45 am at the meeting point in front of Federal Secretariat Abuja before matching to the Asorock Villa where they are envisaged to meet President Muhammadu Buhari.

The statement also added that the ongoing payment for the month of June is for media show and a distraction to Npower volunteers who are about to be disengaged as almost 70% of the beneficiaries are yet to receive the payment.
