Op-Ed: No Forgery Submission For Governor Adeleke

It is mostly inappropriate to be discussing a matter before the court. Unfortunately, many ill-trained partisan bigots have lost all sense of professionalism. The consequence is an endless piling up of lies, pretending to be a super- propagandist, no matter how infamous that word may be.

So pardon me for joining the fray. The goal is to lay before the public the false allegation of forgery now being repeated by some children of perdition. The first major point to make is that the so called forgery has nothing to do with the school certificates of Governor Adeleke. His educational qualifications are perfectly in order.

The Issue of forgery has to do with an error on school testimonial which bear Osun instead of Oyo state. Osun State was part of Oyo State when Governor Adeleke completed his high school education in 1981. The issuing school testified before Court of Appeal in 2018, that it was their error, which has nothing to do with Governor Adeleke,

The Court of Appeal ruled that there was no forgery and exonerated Governor Adeleke of any such infraction. The reality was that the school principal actually appeared and testified. The school did not deny the testimonial and never accused the Governor of forging the said document.

The school owns the said document as the issuing authority. The best proof of authenticity of a document is an attestation and confirmation by the issuing body. In this case, the school admitted that the error was theirs and not that of its ex-student.

The court on the strength of that testimony cleared the Governor. It is elementary to even a layman that the Court of Appeal is superior to the Tribunal.

If not for bias and illogical reasoning, why will a judge of a lower court reopen a case already decided by the higher court?

If not for acute shamelessness, why will a college educated person defend such brazen conduct ?

The whole drama smacks of irresponsible display of judicial power by a judicial officer who probably has an agenda other than dispensation of justice. The public should know that Governor Adeleke did not forge this testimonial or any certificate. Those chasing shadows are desperately searching for something to nail the man of the people. And they found none.

Imagine the puerile argument of building something on something. Governor Adeleke’s entrance to American University was never with school certificate requirements. In those early days, your transcripts across various secondary school classes alongside successful performance at TOEFL examination are mostl the admission requirements.

Even after the emissaries they sent to the United States confirmed the authenticity of the Governor’s certificates, they are not remorseful and instead forges ahead with expanding on their lies and campaign of misinformation. What manner of desperation is this?

What manner of people lacks even the barest element of moral compass? What a class of deceitful, conscienceless propagandists who once ruled our dear state? I mean what manner of human beings are these mean, evil, greedy and anti-people usurpers?

What is shocking is refusal by this class of haters to see the futility of their plots and schemes against Governor Adeleke. Being the most popular Governor in Nigeria today, the more they weave their falsehood, the wider the Governor’s acceptability and popularity.

Attempts to damage the Governor’s image through fake allegations have consistently boomerang. To lovers and admirers of the Governor, your man did not forge any testimonials or certificates. Educationally, his records are clean. The Tribunal Chairman should explain how he arrived at his opinion when the Court of Appeal has cleared Governor Adeleke of any forgery.

When next you read of such unfounded allegations, let them subject themselves to lie detectors. Their life has been so engulfed in lying to cover up lies that their human identity is now questionable. Increasingly, The culture of falsity is catching up as the purveyors of fake news are now beginning to believe in their own self created image of fake news merchants.

As the appeal kicks off, Nigerians and members of the public are already wary of traders of misinformation. Governor Adeleke forges no testimonial or certificate. A jobless former employee can get gainful employment instead of fouling the air with condemnable utterances to justify crumbs from the sadist table.
