“Osun Government Should Include Entertainers, Private School Workers In Covid-19 Palliative” – Abolade Dodoede
In a release signed by Nollywood actor and freelance broadcaster, Adekunle Abolade Dodoede, made available to OSUNREPORTERSN NEWS on Thursday in Osogbo disclosed that Covid-19 lockdown has affected some category of people in entertainment industry and private school workers amongst others in Nigeria.
Dodoede explained that there are some category of works that lockdown in currently pulling into relegation, such as musicians, theater practitioners, Freelance Broadcasters, DJs, MCs, Caterers and Private school staff.
According to the release, “In case any member of 21-man committee set up by State of Osun government for palliative package is reading this, any palliative package that does not involve Musicians, theater practitioners, Freelance Broadcasters, DJs, MCs, Caterers, all entertainers, Private school teachers is nothing but a mirage.
“We are the most affected people in Osun state and nobody is looking towards our sides,” he said.
The Osogbo based entertainer, urged 21-man Covid-19 relief committee set up by the state government under the leadership of Governor Oyetola to remember the most affected group of people in reaching out to them as soon as possible.
