Osun LG Election Timetable Released (Full Detail)

Information reaching the OsunReporters News confirmed that the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC, has released the timetable for the February 2025 council poll.
While disclosing this on Monday, the OSSIEC Chairman, Barrister Hashim Abioye, announced that the State owned electoral body has also written to IPAC, to inform it of the need for interested political parties to express their intentions within the stipulated time as contained in the timetable.
However, he urged all registered political parties intending to participate in the election to register with the commission.
Abioye added that, the political parties are to obtain the nomination form on behalf of their candidates at the commission headquarters in Osogbo, the Osun State Capital.
______Recall that the OSSIEC Chairman, Barrister Hashim Abioye, recently met with the umbrella body of all political parties in Osun State on the preparedness of the electoral commission to conduct free, fair, credible and generally acceptable local government election in Osun state come February next year.
____OSSIEC boss also used the avenue to inform on-line publishers on the proposed institute to be established by the Osun Electoral body, where political Officeholders, most especially at the grassroots level would be taught on the ABC of governance.
