Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has reaffirmed his readiness to continue his developmental projects that spread across every part of the state if returned for the second term.

Oyetola, who disclosed this on Monday during his re-election campaign held at Orile Owu, Ode Omu, and Gbongan in Ayedaade local government said he was impressed by the turnout of residents and his party members to support his re-election bid, adding that the turnout was a testimony to his performance since assumption of office.

The campaign train was the the palace of Alayegun of Ode Omu, followed by the Olowu of Orile-owu as well as Olufi of Gbongan where supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) received him at different campaign grounds in the three towns.

In his address, “welcoming us in your numbers show that I did not disappoint you since you gave me the mandate in the last three and a half years. I trust that you are not going to deviate this time around in returning me for the second term.

“This is a clear fact that our works are in line with your requests, and we have taken note of other concerns that we shall attend to all in due time. This is why we are appealing for your support, before, during and after the elections for us to do more.

“At this critical time, we must not entrust the leadership of this state to gamblers, jesters, or those who think Osun is for sale. Entrusting it to hands that have been tested is the only solution at this critical time”.

In their separate remarks, Olufi of Gbongan, Oba Adetoyese Oyeniyi; Alayegun of Ode Omu, Oba James Bolarinwa Alabi Oladipupo and Olowu of Orile-Owu, Oba Daud Ajolola Akinfalabi, gave kudos to governor Oyetola for his impressive record in less than four years, adding that it is necessary for the people of Osun to return Oyetola to consolidate many developmental projects done so far.
