Security Forbid unvaccinated Federal officials
Officials and the general public without proof of vaccination and negative PCR tests are currently barred from accessing government buildings in Abuja.
It was earlier reported that the Presidential COVID-19 Steering Committee led by Boss Mustapha announced in October that officials without proof of vaccination and negative PCR tests would not be allowed access to government buildings from the 1st. December 2021.
However, according to reports, the Association of Senior Officials of Nigeria had asked the federal government to extend today’s deadline for compulsory vaccination of civil servants until March next year, a decision that the CPS said. had described as “impossible”.
Nigeria had also reported three cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus disease on Wednesday.
