So Sad As Man Dies Inside Petrol Tank

A 29 years old tank installer/maintainer simply identified as AHMED, has been recovered dead from a petrol tank at a popular filling station in disco-Ajase-Ipo area of Ilorin, the state capital.

Confirming the incident to Diamond FM, the spokesperson of the State Fire Service, HASSAN ADEKUNLE, said the terrible incident occurred last night, when the victim from Ibadan for a maintenance work inside a petrol tank at the filling station. The victim suddenly got suffocated and eventually died in the tank, after which firemen evacuate the body from the tank and handed it over to his boss, ABDULBASIT OLADIMEJI.

Director of Kwara State Fire Service, FALADE OLUMUYIWA, however urged the general public to be more safety conscious, particularly the workers to always endeavor to be using safety equipment at all time.
