Tragic Auto Crash Claims Osun Poly Student’s Life

The tragic news about the death of Olatona Olanrewaju Olaide, also known as LARRY. As the newly appointed NAMACOS financial secretary and former Governor of stream B, Mass Communication at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has left everyone in mourning.

According to reports, the tragic accident occurred on the Ikirun road around 9pm on the 15th of April, 2024 while Larry was returning from Osogbo to Iree when the bike he was riding collided with a trailer.

Sadly, Larry did not survive the accident and was laid to rest today at his family house in Ikirun.

While speaking, NAMACOS president, Comr. EDM Adegbite Jeremiah, who was present at the burial, confirmed that the news of Larry’s passing has sent shockwaves through the student community, leaving many in disbelief. The campus is filled with sorrow as students mourn the loss of their friend and colleague. Tears are being shed as they come to terms with the sudden absence of someone who was an integral part of their lives.

Students who expressed their shock, described the pain of realizing they won’t be able to see Larry again and how they’ll always cherish the moments they shared together, while some lamented how Larry had promised they would be friends forever, feeling the weight of his absence.
