Two Students Set Ablaze For Crushing Four Persons To Death In Osun

For crushing four persons to death in a road accident, some irate youths have set a vehicle with registration number BDG 481 JD (LAGOS) ablaze in Odeomu, Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State.
Acvording to reports, the driver of the vehicle and two other occupants were coming from Osogbo and allegedly crushed their victims who were on a motorcycle.
Reports further revealed that the Okada rider and a middle-aged woman alongside her three children were on the bike while the incident happened.

However, the occupants of the vehicle were reportedly yo be students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree who were on their way to Lagos after the completion of their first semester examinations.
Some youths of the community who witnessed the ugly incident got infuriated and set the vehicle and its occupants ablaze.
However, the driver of the car managed his way and escaped, while it took the intervention of the policemen to rescue the two other persons who had already been set ablaze before their arrival.
While confirming the report, the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola called for calm, assuring people of the community if Police intervention.
According to Opalola; “The driver escaped immediately the accident happened after much appealing to the angry mob they set ablaze the remaining two occupants of the vehicle later we quenched the fire rescued them transferred them to hospital in Osogbo area remained calm”.(Saturday Telegraph)
