Man Beats Wife To Death Over N1,000
Some signs are the indication of end time as predicted by the two holy books, and with what is currently happening across the world, it seems the expected end time is near.
The news reaching the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS has it that a 41-year-old man identified as Usman Hammawa, in Adamawa State was arrested for allegedly beating his wife to death.
The suspect, Usman Hammawa, resident of Jada Ward in Ganye Local Government Area engaged his late wife in a fight following a little argument.
According to the State Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, explained that Hammawa was arrested on Thursday, July 22, for beating his 36-year-old wife, Rabiyatu Usman, to death during a fight between them when the deceased demanded the refund of N1,000 that the accused was owing her where the suspect applied force on his late wife by hitting her head on the wall, as a result of which she fell down unconscious and was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
The suspect was apprehended by the Police in Ganye Local Government Area following report received from a relative of the deceased and a good Samaritan.
The suspect, who is a Civil Servant with Ganye Local Government Council, has five children with the deceased after 16 years of marriage.
As at press time, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Adamu, had deployed officers of Anti- Homicide Unit of the Police Command to take over investigation into the matter, promising to charge the culprit to Court.
